Data Research Analyst

Job Description

1. Possess a strong understanding of market and reference data, including total outstanding shares, free float, and other relevant data sets.
2. Be knowledgeable about various stock exchanges, trading boards, and holiday calendars.
3. Gather and verify the quality of input data for index development and ongoing maintenance.
4. Understand how different corporate actions affect entities, prices, shares, and free float data.
5. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system improvements and data validation processes.
6. Develop and update data dictionaries and dashboards as required.
7. Lead efforts to drive continuous improvement by implementing quality initiatives within the process.
8. Manage data according to client-specific needs while adhering to the organization’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and key result areas (KRAs)
